Darren Smith
Managing Partner – Strategy & Client Relations
A seasoned executive with over 15 years in medical device sales and eight and a half years in the technology sector. Darren is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served honorably, including a deployment to Iraq — bringing discipline and strategic focus to every engagement. He successfully built and exited a consumer health software platform acquired for $5.98M, and has a proven track record of merging healthcare expertise with business development to drive growth in emerging digital health markets.
Michael Bomhoff
Managing Partner – Technology & Delivery
A technology and operations executive with deep expertise in AI, cloud computing, and product development. Michael began his AI career as an early IBM Watson consultant and served as lead consultant for an AI-focused insurance company that was later acquired by IBM. He went on to serve as CTO of Capovela and President of Applied A.I. Partners, leading the development of cutting-edge AI solutions across industries. He holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology and a B.A. from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.
